Our 4th of July - Happy Birthday USA!

We had a wonderful 4th of July at our close friend Lisa's house. She invited us and a few of her other close friends to enjoy the afternoon and evening together.

The kids had fun with the other family friends there. We went swimming and it seems a swim outing would not be complete without some sort of jumping or throwing feats (see photos of Gabby below). All the kids (well, the ones Adam and I could) got thrown around in the water and had a blast. I am not sure if the kids or the adults were more tired.

The fireworks was enjoyable and Lissy and Jarrett got to light their first firework this year. We could not see the shows by the casinos in town, but we did not care. We had fun at Lisa's house.

It is great to have the freedoms we have and to be able to celebrate them with friends and family. May the USA continue to be blessed and watched over and keep it the great place God intended it to be...
